great Flemish twist strings is wonderful and unexpected. Not glossy like a modern bow- unfinished bamboo back and belly over wood - but very serviceable. A great D curve longbow, better than just the entry level as described in the listing. Only small complaint is that the self knocks on the arrows are a fraction too big for the string - fine for the dacron strings that some bows on this site have, but too big for the flemish twist strings - you would be better to specify arrows with plastic nocks for this model.
